Manuscript preparation

The paper should contain original results of research that are related to the theory, design, implementation, application, exploitation, maintenance or evaluation aspects of the conference main topics. Only the papers that have not been published or presented in any way will be accepted for IEEE PES ISGT EU 2024. The prospective authors are invited to submit full paper (up to 6 pages). The authors should prepare their manuscripts in accordance with the IEEE Conference Template (can be found on the following link). Manuscripts should be written in clear English language.

Full papers must be submitted online, the submission site will be available on 25 January 2024 (Papers identified as Part 1 and Part 2 papers will NOT be accepted). All papers must be submitted by 1 May 2024. Authors will be advised via email of acceptance or rejection of the paper by 1 June 2024. If revisions are required, authors will be notified prior to that date. The final version must be submitted by 14 September 2024.

Authors of recently accepted relevant IEEE PES Transactions Papers, covering one of the conference themes, are invited to submit their papers to ISGT EUROPE 2024 (please see the list of eligible Transactions below). The papers should be submitted through paper submission form, with the note that the paper is accepted for publication in IEEE PES Transaction journal. These papers will be directly accepted without further review and will be allocated to an oral presentation session. Only abstract will appear in the proceedings of the conference.

  • IEEE Transactions on Power Systems
  • IEEE Transactions on Power Delivery
  • IEEE Transactions on Energy Conversion
  • IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid
  • IEEE Transactions on Sustainable Energy
  • IEEE Transactions on Energy Markets

PES Transactions papers will only be eligible for presentation if they are available on IEEE Xplore (Early Access included) and have acceptance date no earlier than 1st of January 2023.

The top 5% of papers, determined through the evaluation process at the 2024 IEEE ISGT Europe conference, will be selected to submit an extended version to IEEE PES Transactions for consideration of publication. These papers must be presented to be eligible for inclusion in the top 5%. The extended paper requires at least 60% additional new material relative to the original conference paper and the similarity check should be within a maximum of 25%. The extended paper will be subjected to a regular review process of the respective PES Transactions. The final decision for publication on the extended paper is made by the Editor-in-Chief of the respective venue.
