Powering a Sustainable and Resilient Future
The IEEE PES ISGT Europe conference is a leading event focused on power grid modernization and the application of ICT to enhance energy systems, with an emphasis on integrating renewable and distributed energy resources. The 2025 conference will feature keynotes, plenary session, super and special sessions, influential industry representatives, industry exhibits and presentations, technical sessions and a job fair on smart grid innovations. Researchers, professionals, and students worldwide are invited to submit papers and discuss the latest advancements in grid modernization. The conference will be a great opportunity to network with international delegates.

Conference Topics
The IEEE ISGT Europe 2025 Organizing Committee invites practitioners and researchers worldwide to submit multi- and cross cross-disciplinary research related to smart grid and grid modernization. Submissions should address topics outlined under the following four tracks:
Track 1: Sustainable Energy Infrastructures and Components
- Smart substations and advanced asset management
- Diagnostic models, reliability, and lifespan extension for energy components
- IoT in component maintenance and eco eco-design principles
- Circular economy and recycling of grid components
- Advancements in power electronics and HVDC systems
- Decarbonization strategies and secure supply in renewable power systems
- Hydrogen, energy storage integration, and microgrid solutions
- Developments in ADMS, DERMS, EMS, and OMS for microgrid operation
Track 2: Smart Power System Operational Elements
- Low-inertia and inertia inertia-free power systems
- Synchro phasors, power system dynamics, and protection
- Multi-energy systems (P2X) and electromobility solutions
- Advanced monitoring, operation, and control of distribution systems
- Demand response, demand-side management, and flexible sources
- Microgrid operation, control, and resilience
Track 3: Market Design, End-users, Regulation, and Prosumers
- Future energy markets and policies for flexibility and trading
- Energy sharing models, energy communities, and blockchain technologies
- Peer-to-peer energy trading and aggregation of distributed resources
- Prosumers, virtual power plants, and VxG applications
Track 4: Integrated Features of ICT and Energy and Power Systems
- Cybersecurity in energy system operation and control
- ICT-driven intelligent, autonomous controls, and digital twins
- IoT and edge computing solutions for energy systems
- Data-driven modelling, big data management, and prosumer flexibility
In addition, papers closely related to the abovementioned topics, but not explicitly listed, are also encouraged for submission. Submissions from industry are highly encouraged.
