Powering a Sustainable and Resilient Future
The IEEE PES ISGT Europe conference is a leading event focused on power grid modernization and the application of ICT to enhance energy systems, with an emphasis on integrating renewable and distributed energy resources. The 2025 conference will feature keynotes, plenary session, super and special sessions, influential industry representatives, industry exhibits and presentations, technical sessions and a job fair on smart grid innovations. Researchers, professionals, and students worldwide are invited to submit papers and discuss the latest advancements in grid modernization. The conference will be a great opportunity to network with international delegates.

The Organizing Committee of the IEEE PES ISGT Europe 2025 is excited to announce a dedicated platform for Industry Talks, to be held during the conference in Malta from 20 to 23 October 2025. These sessions aim to maximize opportunities for industry professionals to share their innovations, solutions, and real-world applications in smart grid technologies without the need for a full paper submission. Recognizing the importance of confidentiality, recordings of these talks will not be taken. Indicatively the duration for the talk is 10 minutes.
Objective
Industry Talks are designed to:
- Provide a forum for showcasing innovative solutions, products, and services relevant to smart grids and energy systems.
- Foster collaboration between academia, research, and industry stakeholders.
- Highlight practical experiences, challenges, and success stories from the field.
Note: While this platform offers an excellent opportunity for industry exposure, the focus of the presentations should be on innovation, solutions, and advancements rather than promotional content or sales pitches.
Suggested Topics
Topics for Industry Talks may include but are not limited to:
- Breakthrough technologies for renewable energy integration
- Smart grid implementation and deployment experiences
- Advances in energy storage systems
- Innovative electric vehicle charging infrastructure
- Digitalization and IoT applications in power systems
- Cybersecurity solutions for energy systems
- Real-world applications of AI and machine learning in energy
- Emerging trends in decentralized and peer-to-peer energy systems
- Lessons learned from grid resilience and disaster recovery projects
- Future trends in regulatory compliance and market dynamics
Submission Guideline
Interested participants are invited to submit a proposal containing the following details:
- Title: A concise and informative title for the talk.
- Presenter(s): Names, affiliations, and contact details of the presenter/s including bio photo/s.
- Abstract: A brief description (maximum 300 words) of the talk’s content and objectives.
- Key Highlights: Identify the main innovations or insights to be presented.
- Relevance: Explain how the talk aligns with the conference’s themes and objectives.
- Audio-Visual Requirements: Specify any technical or logistical needs for the presentation.
- Financial Support to the Conference: Indicate whether the organizers or speakers can provide financial support to the conference (e.g., contributing to conference sponsorship).
Evaluation Criteria
Proposals will be evaluated based on:
- Relevance and alignment with the conference themes.
- Innovation and uniqueness of the topic.
- Practical insights and applicability to the energy sector.
- Clarity and quality of the proposal.
Important Notes
Presenters are encouraged to focus on practical insights and innovations.
Talks will not be recorded, ensuring a safe space for sharing confidential or proprietary information.
Abstracts may be published in proceedings and programme.

The ISGT Europe 2025 uses ConfTool manuscript submission system that will require authors to register for an account prior to the paper submission.
